Taking the overall Grand Champion of Champions just now here in Carlisle and ending a fantastic day of judging for the dairy breeds is the senior and overall champion Holstein, Weeton Lheros A Balise from Andrew and Pat Wilson, who trade under J and I Wilson.

Grand champion presentation

This EX94 daughter of Comestar Lheros out of the VG86 Weeton Authority RCM Balise is currently giving 52 litres having calved in November and was purchased at the Weeton dispersal sale for 5800gns.

Holstein and overall Grand champion

Taking the reserve championship was the November 2004-born Red and White champion and EX93 Corringham Bob Roxy Red owned by the three-way Riverdane Holsteins, Morgan and Bourke partnership.

Overall reserve grand champion

Bred by Messrs Winter she is by JA Bob Jordan Red and is out of the STBVQ Rubens daughter Corringham Rubens Rozy Red who is out of an EX92 dam. A Past Red cow champion, she has given 16,000 litres in a 305 lactation and last calved on February 4th. She will now be flushed.
