Judge June Dowie has made good work of the early classes at Caledonian Marts this morning, with the top place in class four, the first of the heifer classes  going to Sophie Harvey with a February 2011-born Limousin cross heifer. Second to her was Suzie Dunn with a February-born Charolais cross and third was Ian Dick with a Limousin cross.

In the second class of heifers the winner was Bryony Muir with a Limousin cross born in late February last year, while second waas Craig Malone with a 1st of March-born British Blue cross. Third spot in this class went to Katreen Millar with a March born Limousin cross and fourth was Blyth Brewster with a Charolais cross.

The third class of heifers was won by Jean McKay with a Limousin cross, then in second was Nicola Reid with another Limousin cross and in third was John Graham with another Limmy cross. Fourth spot in this all Limousin line up went to Suzie Dunn.

The final class of Young Farmers heifers saw the red ticket go to Robbie McNeil with an April-born Limousin cross. Second spot here went to Jamie Harvey with a Charolais cross, while third was Kirstie Morton with a Charolais cross. In fourth place was Jean McKay with a May-born Limousin cross.
