After a solid afternoon’s trading the prices have fallen back a bit at Roscrea for the Limousins with the only notable bid in the recent lots a E7800 call for Elite Greek from Edward Tynan. This Sympa son is out of Bremore Cindy and was a first prize winner in the pre-sale show. He sold with an SBV of E103.

It’s certainly been a strong day’s selling for Irish Limousin breeders, I’ve no word on the averages yet, but from what our spy has told me we reckon there have been at least 49 bulls at E4000 or more. This is without question a strong reflection of the tremendous cattle trade in Eire at the moment and shows commercial buyers have once again been willing to pay to secure the bulls they want.
