The draft from the Brockhurst herd of Doug Mash is leading the female trade here at Newark, with an 8500gns call for Brockhurst Exmoor, an ET bred Grahams Samson daughter out of Reseda, a Malibu daughter. She heads for a new home in Scotland.

Brockhurst Exmoor sold for 8500gns

Then at 7000gns was one from Chris White and bred by Garret Behan in Eire, Cloonagh Delicious. Sired by Milbrook Tanko she is out of Marlhill Rebecca, an Ibis daughter and sold with her Fieldson Alfy-sired heifer calf at foot.

Back in the Brockhurst draft and taking a 6000gns bid was Exmoor’s full ET sister Brockhurst Evelyn. She went to Roger Turner.

And making 5000gns was Brockhurst Event, a Brockhurst Timbuktu daughter out of Brockhurst Heavenly, a Mereside Crackerjack daughter. She also heads home with the day’s volume buyer Mr Turner.

A trio have then traded at 4500gns, with the first being Mereside Vureal from the Hazard family. This Nimbus daughter is out of Mereside Sureal, a Dyfri Orator daughter and sold with a Bolide heifer calf at foot.

The next at this price was from Doug Mash and was Brockhurst Evette, a Mereside Crackerjack daughter out of Roncik McAinsi, the formers Royal and Royal Welsh champion. She went to Roger Turner. And finally at this money was Brockhurst Ellen, an Imperial sired ET heifer out of Segala, a Mas Du Clo daughter. She also heads to Mr Turner.
