Messrs Cant and Partners have sold Panmure 1 Henry in a private deal for an undisclosed price to John and William McMordie, Solpoll Hereford, which sets a new herd record, beating the previous price of £6000.

This is the third bull the McMordie’s have bought from Panmure, but on this instance they are buying back some of their own breeding as Henry ‘s dam, Panmure 1 Plum E2, is sired by the 2006 Royal Highland Show Supreme Champion Solpoll 1 Brigadier, who the Cant family bought in 2005.
By Romany 1 Distiller, Henry is a full brother to Panmure 1 Gino, who was sold for 8100gns to R and K Murphy of Gortnagarn and Sluggan Herefords also in Northern Ireland at the 2011 Spring Show & Sale in Hereford.
