The male championship in the pre-sale show at today’s Aberdeen-Angus sale at Dungannon has been taken by Drumlin Quinlan K316 from Jonathan and Lisa Doyle. This Southland Full Throttle 15R son is out of Argwen Queen 26G, a Cudlobe Lancer 28 ’95 daughter.

Meanwhile, leading the way in the female classes were Marcus and Norman Rutledge, Co Tyrone, Railview Parisa K254, a Priestown Jupiter daughter out of Railview Primrose B403, a Maine Dragon daughter.

Standing reserve was Carmean Erica K277 from Co Londonderry-based John Lawrence. She is a daughter of Woodvale Total G616 and is out of the Cheeklaw Eirwyn D165-sired Carmean Emma H196.

The first class of bulls was won by the male champion, with Avril Robson’s Glenhoy Mightyben K311 in second and Glenhoy Top Tiger K285 in third from the same vendor.

In the second bull class the winner was the reserve male champion, with Neville Forsythe’s bull Coltrim Emporer L752 in second and the same vendor’s Coltrim Lord Jupiet L763, in third place.
