Trade in the senior bulls here at Carlisle is reasonably strong for the best of them, with the senior and overall champion, Garnned Ffrancon (lot 39) from Ken Jones selling at 10,000gns. This one is by Overthwaite Ben and out of Garnedd Carol, a Broomfield Regentcy daughter. Buying this one were Messrs Rees Bros, Crymych.

Then came the reserve senior champion Sportsmans Ferguson from Charlie Boden. This Vantastic son is out of Glenrock Ursula, a Marquis daughter. He sold at 14,000gns to Ian Brown.

A few lots earlier Andrew Proctor sold Swarland Filip (lot 37), a second prize winner at 5000gns. This Brontemoor Apache son is out of Swarland Veleta, a Ronick Jawk daughter and sold with a beef value of +32.
And at 4000gns was Eastshaw Funkie from the Iveson family. He’s byu Cloughhead Billy and out of Beck Vivian, a Mas Du Clo daughter.
Selling after that for 5400gns was Myfyrian Flash (lot 40). This Sympa son is out of Twemlows Uphee, a Twemlows Magicman daughter.
