Another from Jamie Cooper, this time a Sympa son, Tomschoice Gladius (lot 189) has just sold at 6000gns. This one is out of Tomschoice Dione, a Brontemoor Aceofspades daughter and traded with a beef value of +27.
Trade in these juniors has been very patchy, with only the best of bulls attracting anything like a decent trade. Next to collect a decent bid was Alagils Gershwin (lot204) from the MacNabs when he sold at 12,000gns. This Millgate Caesar son is out of Alagils Ainsi, a Scorboro regius daughter. He sold with a beef value of +37 and found a new home with Allanton Farming, Ayrshire.
The Ridleys then collected 10,000gns for Haltcliffe George (lot 205). This Cloughhead Umpire son is out of Haltcliffe Clover, a Sympa daughter and sold to John Blaxhall, Norwich with a beef value of +24.
