Today’s British Blonde champion has set a new society sale record selling for 9000gns. The bull, Eilean Fergus, is a Ballygowan Noble son and was knocked down to Dan Davies, Dyfed.

Next best at 6200gns was Droit Falcon (lot 310) from Richard Mowbray. This one is a Drop son out of the Elmhurst O-Aye daughter Penyghent Alison who was purchased for 6500gns here in May 2007. Buyer here was T H Harrison and Sons, Penrith, Cumbria.
The reserve senior champion Ashtonlodge Fabian (lot 307) from John McVeigh then traded at 3700gns. This one is a Totteridge Omen son out of the Stocksfield Aristocrat daughter Ganaway Spice and was sold to Messrs Davies, Swansea. Then at 3400gns the first lot in the ring Lochhead Finlay went at 3400gns. This one is a Gala Bevis son out of the Freefield Upeg daughter Lochhead Avril and went to Messrs Madgwick, Petersfield, Hants.
