That’s the end of trading here at Carlisle in the British Blues, with what started off as a slightly sticky sale ending up as a decent day for the breed with the average for the bulls settling at £4563 for 125 sold, up from £4379 in 2011 and an 85% clearance achieved too.
The 40 senior bulls sold to average £4289.25, 47 intermediates levelled at £4805.43 and 38 juniors averaged £4553.68.
