Iain Campbell took centre stage this morning to judge the native group of three and tapped out the Beef Shorthorn group ahead of the Aberdeen-Angus group.
The winning group consisted of James Porter’s champion cow and calf outfit Gipsy Rascal, his February 2010-born heifer Uppermill Broadhooks Beatrix and John Woods’ senior bull Dacre Rock Star, while the reserve champion Angus group consisted of Rae Grieve’s senior bull Wedderlie Posse, George Milne’s two year old heifer Kinaldy Jewel Erica K126 and Whittaker and Co Farms’ Haughton Laura L026.
