This year’s Royal Highland Show British Blue junior male and reserve overall male champion Cromwell Goliath from Adam Neachell, Staffordshire, has been sold at the show for a five figure private price.
Cromwell Goliath - sold privately at the Royal Highland Show
Goliath, who is a February 2011-born ET-bred son of the successful herd sire Bringlee Carlos and is out of one of the herd’s prolific cows Ridge Dean Rita, who is a Visconti daughter, was purchased at the show by J Barclay and Son, Banff, for their Ardiecow herd. Having watched the bull in the judging Mr Barclay was impressed with his scale, power, correctness, muscling and breed character.
