As ever trade for Limousin females is off the clock at the Dinmore reduction sale in Hereford, which is currently topping at 36,000gns.
Sale leader is one of the top picks from the Farming Eye preview, Dinmore Fabulous (lot 50), a June 2010-born Wilodge Vantastic daughter out of the Rubis daughter and past twice Balmoral interbreed champion Carmorn Voney. With a beef value of +44, she was knocked down to Sanny Swrij for his Swalesmoor herd.

Danny was back in spending again on Dinmore Dena (lot 25), an Aprl 2008-born Oxygene heifer out of the Wilodge Profit daughter Dinmore Athena, the 2007 female champion at the Royal Welsh.She was knocked down at 26,000gns.

Then at 22,000gns was the September-born Dinmore Foxy (lot 58), a daughter of the herd’s stock bull Procters Duvalier out of the Wilodge Vantastic daughter Dinmore Caprice. With a beef value of +35, this one sold to Nick Layton who is believed to be buying on behalf of Dai Walters.

Finding a new home at 14,000gns was Dinmore Foxtrot (lot 59. This Procters Duvalier daughter is out of Dinmore Caprice, a Vantastic daughter and sold with a beef value of +34.

Selling at 7000gns was Dinmore Forgetmenot (lot 57). This July 2012-born heifer is by Vantastic again and out of the past show female Fleethill Sal. With a beef value of +40 she sold to Steve Boiling, then at 6500gns was Dinmore Esme (lot 32), a Wilodge Tonka daughter out of the 9000gns Newstart Uptowngirl and sold to Messrs T Edwards.
Two females then shared a 6000gns price tag, the first of which was Dinmore Fragrance (lot 44), a May 2010-born Homebyres Visitor daughter out of Carmorn Voney. Buyer again was Nick Layton. Then at the same money was Dinmore Gena (lot 67), a March 2011-born Vantastic daughter out of Dinmore Athena and she sold to Bovine Genetics.
