More pig classes have been completed this afternoon, here are the results we have to date.
Taking top spot in the British Lops was Guy Kiddy with his boar Balsham Charles 2, a Greenway Charles son. Reseve to him was Guy again with his sow Balsham Sunshine 40, another by Greenway Charles 2.
In the Large Black classes the winner was K and K Matthews’ sow Lowpark Grandeur 196, a Lowpark Majestic daughter, this one headed the breed ahead of S J Richardson and J a Wood’s sow Borsdane Blackie 051, a Collett Majestic daughter.
Middle White championship honours were claimed by Guy Kiddy with his sow Shuttleworth Woodlands Lady 040, this is a Westham Mischief daughter. Reserve honours here went to C A Dustan with her boar Nancenoy Mischief 2.
And the Welsh champion was Flansham Lucky Girl, a January gilt from a J Moss and sired by Birdcombe Emperor. Standing reserve to her was Gqynys Model, a sow from the same class exhibited by Messrs Roberts. She is by Braemor Imperial.
Clinching the silverware in the Berkshire classes was Kilcot Royal Luster, a July 2010-born sow from W Scudamore. She is by Kilcott Ambassador 13. Reserve here went to the same exhibitor with her January boar Bartonhill Namatajira, a Boardwood Namitajira son.
Then in the Oxford Sandy and Black classes the championship was won by C Nicholas with her sow Dukes Duchess, a Longash Jack daughter, with J R Sutcliffe in reserve with his boar Coalyeat Clarence, a January 2012-born Thornborough Clarence son.
