In the beef interbreed pairs competition this morning, taking the silverware in the native section was the Aberdeen-Angus pair consisting of the male champion and reserve overall breed champion Oakchurch Diplomat J118 from Jeremy Price and with Sally Lloyd at the halter. He was teamed up with the first prize cow and calf Chathill Eveline from Jamie Rettie.

Standing reserve in the natives was the Lincoln Red pair consisting of the champion heifer Walmer Lobelia from the Needler family and the reserve champion Springwood Poacher from the Evans family.

In the Continental Pairs, the Limousins stood at the top consiting of the champion Ironstone Dumandy from Smiths of Bloxham and Hafodlas Domino from Doug Mash, while the reserve went to the Charolais pair from Mike Atkinson consisting of Mowbraypark Fleur and Mowbraypark General.
