Today’s Spotlight Holstein sale at Sedgemoor has hit 3000gns early on, with this price paid for Riverdane Talent Roxy (lot 4). This Talent daughter is out of Corringham Bob Roxy Red, described as one of the best red cows in the country and a dam which gave more than 15,500kg in her third lactation and stood reserve interbreed at the UK Dairy Expo earlier this year, she is classified Ex93.
And a pair followed at 2200gns, with the first being Mikali Knowledge Gail (lot 12). This yearling heifer is by Sicy Knowledge and out of Mikali Goldwyn SS Gail, a Goldwyn daughter.
The other at this money was Ciderhouse Fever Fleur, a daughter of Crackholm Fever out of Ciderhouse Sinatra Fleur 7, an Ex91 classified dam with two of her three lactations at 11,000kg or more.
