The International Intrigue Holstein sale held in Illinois over the weekend saw an exceptional trade, with no fewer than 15 lots trading at $100,000 or more.

Heading the prices was a $490,000 call for the third lot in the catalogue, Cookview Goldwyn Monique, a November 2008-born Goldwyn daughter out of Cookview Igniter Monika, a Summershade Igniter daughter. Monique had stood grand and intermediate champion at the Quebec Spring Show earlier in the year.

Then selling at $290,000 was Silvermaple Damion Camomile, an Erbacres Damion daughter out of Stanhope Camila Goldwyn. Classified VG89 she is April 2008-born and has an impressive show record already having been intermediate and reserve grand champion at the World Dairy Expo last year as well as intermediate champion at the Royal Winter Fair.

And at $200,000 was Mapel Wood Sudan Licorice, an April-born calf by VA-Early-Dawn Sudan and out of Mapel Wood MoM Lucy, a Long-Langs Oman Oman daughter. This one sold with a GLPI of +3992.

Selling at $187,000 was Butz-Butler Gold Barbara, a Goldwyn daughter born in November 2009 and out of $1.5m dam Regancrest Brasilia, a Shottle daughter. This one has a GTPI of +2026.

Following that at $175,000 was Misty Springs Epic Savannah, a Genervations Epic daughter out of Misty Springs M O M Santana, a Long-Langs Oman Oman daughter. She sold with a GTPI of +3962, with a full brother already heading to stud at Genervations.

A $165,000 bid then secured Benner Lavaman Boo Boo, a January 2012-born calf by Gen-I-Beq Lavaman out of Benner Planet Bessie, an Ensenada Taboo Planet daughter. She has a GLPI of +3662.

$9000 short of that at $154,000 was Rockymountain Gold Winter, a December 2007-born daughter of Goldwyn out of Raeland Leduc Wilhelmina, a Lystel Leduc daughter. This one is a third calved VG89 classified cow.

Then at $139,000 was Aurora-Rama Yano Harmony, an April-born ET bred daughter of Co-Op UPD Planet Yano out of Screaming Vision O Heida, an O-Bee Manfred Justice daughter. She traded with a GTPI of +2570.

Another April calf then sold for $135,000, with this being Regel Cameron 1411, a Shema Jeeves Cameron daughter out of Regelcreek Plant Apricot. She sold with a GTPI of +2572

And a few lots before that a February-born daughter of Ladys Manor PL Shamrock traded at $129,000. This was Hammer-Creek Sha Kassidy, a heifer with a GTPI of +2589 out of Hammer-Creek M-O-M Keri an Oman Oman daughter.

Following her at $125,000 was Curr-Vale Delish-Red, a February-born calf by Sandy-Valley Colt P-Red and out of Curr-Vale Shottle Delight, a Shottle daughter.

Taking a $122,000 call was Blue-Horizon Ostyle Gem, an ET bred February-born heifer by Co-op O-Style Oman Just and out of Blue-Horizon Plan Edith, an Ensenda Taboo Planet daughter.

Another of the April heifers on offer, Ms Rollen-NC Cam Lexie, a heifer with a GTPI of +2270 and by Shema Jeeves Cameron and out of Tiger-Lily DST Liz P-Red, a Scientific Destry daughter, then sold at $120,000.

The last at $100,000 or more was a maternal sister to the $122,000 heifer, Blue-Horizon Kool Divine. This one is by Hammer-Creek Altakool and sold at $117,000.
