I have the receipt here from the auctionners that clearly states the last Lot 354 of the day sold for 1020gns. This was Wallacetown Woodward a tup lamb from Colin Rae, Dumfries.

Hi SR, thanks for your comment. The information I have is from the auctioneers. I’ll double check with them ASAP and then correct the report as needs be once they’ve confirmed the prices for me.

You have got incorrect information. The top price was 1800gns for the tup. Top priced tup lamb was 1020gns for Wallacetown Woodward from Mr C Rae.

I think you’ll find Mr & Mrs T Donnelly’s tup lamb ‘Saltur Willford’ sold very well for 1,000gns rather than Pistyll Welshman. I think you transposed their lot numbers; 286 and 289. Well done to Mr & Mrs Donnelly, but Pistyll’s pen was very nice too…!
