The buckles flock of Kevin and Rachel Buckle has sold to a 4000gns peak for their first in the ring, Buckles Ricochet (lot 1300). He is by Dooley Napal and out of Buckles Noodle, a Newton Leo daughter. He was knocked down to G E Slater, Butley, Cheshire.

Then making 2200gns was Buckles Rumpelstiltskin. He’s by Leo and out of a Luggsmill Lamech daughter.
At 1800gns from the same pen was Buckles Rembrandt, another by Napal and out of Buckles J20, an Airyolland Hercules daughter.
And making 1700gs was Buckles Rising Star, another by Napal and out of a dam by the Rustler.
And at 3100gns was Myna Rob Roy (lot 1322), a son of Kingledores Popeye out of Myna Nia, a Broughton Lachman daughter.
That’s about it for the top prices here today in the Beltex. However, with two shearling rings having been running together I suspect I may have missed a couple of decent money sales somewhere. We’ll endeavour to update the report with any missing prices as soon as we can, the 497 shearling rams sold averaged £911.63, with 11 aged rams averaging £1145.45.
