Friday’s Rouge sale at Carlisle saw a top price of 1200gns paid for the best of the shearling rams from Angus Howie’s Millhouse flock. This was Millhouse Lets Dance (lot 1721), a son of a Knighton tup out of Broadwood Jersey, a Carscreugh Kingpin daughter. He sold to J C Crust, Spilsby.

After him came an 800gns bid for the day’s pre-sale champion, a Knighton shearling tup from Percy Tait. This one is by Romer Harry and out of Knighton Flora, a Broadwood Dickie daughter.

And just 100gns shy of this was another from Messrs Graham, Tullyvallen Lady’s Choice, a Kinsella Kit Kat daughter out of a Broadwood Aristocrat daughter. She was bought by A J and O F Norbury, Chelford.
