The overall champion from from the pre-sale show, Boars Head Meierisli 5 from Rhys Grenham has just sold at 5600gns. She is by Seaview Prince Charming and out of Oakhill Meierisli 13th by Balmanno Hitman. She sold to Charolais breeder John Gough, Newport, Shropshire, as a foundation female for his new Simmental herd. 
Following her at 7300gns was Corskie Cherry from Iain Green, a Ballinlare Farm Nightrider daughter out of Adam by Popes Laird. She went to the Isle of Wight with Messrs Poulter, Honeyhill Farms. Buyer here was earlier buyers Hunnyhill Farm, Newport, Isle of Wight. 
Following that was the winner of the last class Kilbride Farm Iris 14C from the Robson family. Sired by Cairnview Snazzy she is out of Kilbride Farm Iris 2P, a Corrick Kentucky Kid daughter and sold at 3900gns to Greasley Estate, Nottingham.
A bid of 6200gns followed that for Sacombe Corona-Kleeb from Paull, Judy and Bridget Borlase. This one is a daughter of their herd sire Grangewood William out of Sacombe Tilly-Kleeb, a Milnaufa Junior daughter. She also went to the Isle of Wight. 
Popes Whispers Coco a Blackford daughter out of a dam by Celtic Rock, Swallowhill Whisper, from Jimmy and Vikki Wood then sold at 4100gns to A J and S D Heath, Market Drayton, Shropshire.
Averages: four in-calf and calved heifers £4410, 16 maiden heifers £3563.44 (Harrison and Hetherington).
