Selling is underway here in the Simmentals at Carlisle, with the first in the ring Chadston Tollies’s Delight 6th from B and E Chadwick going at 13,000gns. This is by Camus Brandy and out of Chadston Tollie. She sold to Hunnyhill Farm, Newport, Isle of Wight, who was bidding on the telephone.

The same buyer then took New Trend Bedazzled from Roger Birch at 3000gns. She’s by Dovefields Gallant and out of a Vingegard Powerboy daughter.

Then came Iain Green’s reserve champion Corskie Barbie by Popes Laird. Out of Corskie Sara, a Burghbridge Lane daughter she sold at 6200gns to Ian Wilson, Banchory, Aberdeenshire.

Hector Maskaskill then sold Woodhall Billi at 5000gns. This Woodhall Volcano daughter sold to the Isle of Wight and is out of a Mackney Hector daughter. She is another one joining the load home to the Isle of Wight.

The winner of class three, Blakewell Beauty’s Bramble then made 3400gns. She’s by Blakewell Tremendous and out of a dam by Dovefields Gallant and knocked down to Greasley Estate, Nottingham.
