Leading the ram lambs here at Welshpool so far is the first prize recorded ram lamb from John Mellin. This was Hull house Troy, a son of Castlecairn Red Arrow out of a dam by Springhill Norris.
Then at 1500gns was the first prize open ram lamb from Procters Farm, Procters Timon. This son of Sportsman’s Scania is out of a Knock dam by Tophill Knockout which was bought for 7000gns.
And a few lots later at 1600gns was Tynewydd Topper from Deri John Morgan. This is by Procters Rocco and out of a dam by Arkle Pacific Star.
Then selling at 1500gns was Mellor Vale Thumper from Charlie Boden. He’s by milnbank Special One and out of a dam by Clougher President and at 1300gns was Mellow Vale Taz, another by Special One and out of a dam by Baltier Panther.
The male champion, Garngour Trail Blazer then traded at 1000gns. He’s by Strathbogie Smokey Blue and out of a dam by Kiltariff Osprey.
