Selling at the best of the day so far is Gordon Gray’s first lamb in at 2500gns. this was Ettrick Tartan Special, a son of Foyle View Superstar, last year’s 46,000gns Lanark topper, and out of a dam by Tullylagan Keystone.
Earlier making 1600gns Steve Richardson’s second prize lamb from the novice class (lot 99). This son of Allanfauld Rockafella is out of a dam by Rascarrel Nightlife.
At 1350gns was Geoff Riby’s reserve male champion Stonehills Tic Tac (lot 112). He’s by Cairness Spartacus and out of a dam by Humeston Pride of Kings.
Then making 1150gns was Beautry Torchbearer (lot 113) from Stuart Currie. He’s by Arkle South Pacific and out of a dam by Procters Oswald.
Gordon Gray’s second, Ettrick Tartan Army then sold at 1200gns (lot 139). Sired by Ettrick Sir Alan, he’s out of the same dam as the 2500gns lamb.
