Judging is back underway here this afternoon, with the Holstein classes now taking centre stage.
In the junior heifer in milk class the winner was Lliwe Shottle Rosina, a Shottle daughter from D B Thomas, with Tameside Ricki 9 from Messrs Whittaker and Doherty in second.
Taking top honours in the senior heifer in milk class was Richard Bown with Holmland Goldwyn Adeen, a Goldwyn daughter. Second was Meiklefirth Plaid Lutska from David Yates and third was Richaven Champion Squaw from Designer Holsteins.
The Holstein heifer championship then went to Richard Bown, with his heifer Holmland Goldwyn Adeen, with Kevin Thomas reserve with Lliwe Shottle Rosina.
