The best price of the evening so far at the Thainstone Spectacular is a £3000 call for Usain (lot 32) from Andrew Anderson. This Limousin cross steer by Brian is out of a Limousin cross dam and was male champion at Nairn, Black Isle and Keith Shows. He sold to a telephone bidder.

Then at £2900 was Nina (lot 24), a May 2011-born heifer by Bringlee Cosmo and out of a Limousin cross dam. She was YFC champion at Grantownn and sold to Messsrs Thomson, Nether Glasslaw.

And making £2600 was the one before that, Blair Dufton’s heifer Vajazzle (lot 23) a heifer bred by Messrs Gardiner, Glebelands. She was first at Echt, New Deer and the English Winter Fair.

At £2500 was another from Andrew Anderson, S Factor (lot 28), a September 2011-born heifer by Brian and out of a Limousin cross dam. She was reserve champion at Turriff and also at Grantown.
