The first prize gimmer from the pre-sale show from Albert and George Howie’s Knock flock has just sold at 6000gns to Charlie Boden.
This was HAK1100152 (lot 131), a daughter of Cambwell Rob Roy out of a dam by Anglezarke Krug which is also dam to the 24,000gns ewe sold to Trinidad Investments two years ago.
Then selling at 2200gns was the next in from Knock, HAK1100215 another by Rob Roy and out of a dam by Tophill Nockout. She sold to Esmor Evans.
A few lots earlier at 1600gns was the first of the sale from the Ridley family’s Haltcliffe flock, RHT1100636, a gimmer by Tamnamoney Ned out of a dam by Douganhill Jeronimo.
Charlie Boden then took 2000gns for his first in the ring, BGS1100344, a daughter of Hen Gapel Royal Gold out of a dam by Castlecairn Keltic Star (lot 138).
The only other notable bid was an 1100gns call for the first prize ewe lamb from the Pymans (lot 195). This was PXT1200591, a daughter of Goldies Star that sold to Jim Mulholland.
