The best gimmer price of the evening so far here at Carlisle in the Solway and Tyne Texel Club sale is a 1600gns bid for the third placed ewe from the pre-sale show from Donald and Sarah MacPherson.
This one, MZH1100097, (lot 35) is by Douganhill Jeronimo and out of a dam by Straidarran Legacy.
Also selling at this money was a Tophill Gimmer from John Houghton. This was HPH 1100228, a daughter of Tophill Rocket out of a dam by Knock Orion (lot 69).
Next best after that is the fifth prize gimmer from the Peacehay flock, CFP1100125 (lot 31). This Scolton Panther daughter is out of a dam by Cennen Magnum and sold at 1000gns.
Before that at 950gns was a gimmer from Matthew Stockdale’s Mattadale flock, SWM1100056, a Hexel Ram Jam daughter out of a dam by Templand Nugget.
