Maiden heifers in the Harviestoun dispersal in Stirling is topping at 5500gns on two occassions, the first of which is for the January 2011-born doonally New daughter Harviestoun Gladioli. This one carries a TSI of +68 and a SRI of +53 and was knocked down to Andrew Ewing.
Andrew Hornall then paid the same for the next lot in the ring, Harviestoun Goldie, a Goldies Champion daughter out of a Ravensworth Unwin daughter. He then paid the same price again this time for the stock bull, the January 2010-born Harviestoun Festival, a Doonally New son out of Harviestoun Snowdrop. He has a TSI of +61 and a SRI of +47.
Just prior to that the April 2003-born Ravensworth Unwin, a Mortimers Rushmore son out of the Ploughfield Innisfree daughter Manor Onna sold for 4200gns to Messrs Tucker.
Young bulls then sold to a top of 4200gns for the April 2011-born Harviestoun Godfather, a Ravensworth Unwin son out of a Lochend Rasper. He sold to Messrs Anderson.
