Today’s sale of Limousins from the Janos, Lowerffryd and Glangwden herds has seen some strong bidding in the earlier lots, with the fourth lot Corridan Voyage (lot 4), a Mas Du Clo daughter out of a dam by Smithston Olympic, selling at 8000gns. She sold with a heifer calf at foot by Bailea Vantage.
Following her at 7800gns was Lowerffryd Belle (lot 28), a Nenuphar daughter out of Lowerffrydd Olive, a Filip daughter. She sold to the Pennie family for their Sarkley herd.
Selling for 7500gns was Lowerffrydd Enjoyable (lot 33). This Objat daughter is out of Dentox Valium, a Nenuphar daughter and sold to I G Thomson. Her daughter, Lowerffryd Glitter sold to the same buyer at 4500gns (lot 33A). She is by Bailea Vantage and her dam is a full ET sister to 30,000gns Lowerffryd Empire.
Then at 7000gns was Corridan Daniella (lot 30). Sired by Corridan Arkle she is out of a dam by Grahams Samson and was bought by D B Davies and Son.
Trading at 6800gns was to the Alford family, Devon, was Janos Gayle, a Lowerffryd Ahoy daughter out of Corridan Chelsea, a Goldies Terrence daughter (lot 12A).
They also took her dam, Corridan Chelsea (lot 12) at 5000gns.
Also at 6800gns was Janos Black Homer, a Bailea Black BMW sired bull calf out of Corridan Voyage – the 8000gns cow from earlier. He sold suckling his recipient dam.
And another then sold at 5000gns, with this being Lowerffrydd Empress (lot 34). Sired by Fieldson Alfy she is out of Lowerffrydd Olive, a Filip daughter and sold to G L Davies.
At 4800gns was Corridan Vivid (lot 26). This Grahams Samson daughter is out of Corridan Tamborine, a Haltcliffe Hercules daughter and sold to E E Davies and Co.
A pair then sold at 4200gns, with the first being Corridan Edith (lot 20), a Corridan Arkle daughter out of 8000gns Corridan Voyage. She went to Messrs Edwards. The other at this money was Corridan Event (lot 32). this Rubis daughter is out of Corridan Uist, a Rake Terrence daughter and sold to Messrs Morris, Cargriff.
