Trade at yesterday’s Latter Fair sale of Mule ewe lambs at Carlisle saw trade top at a record equalling £420 for the champion pen from John-Smith Jackson, Hightown, which sold to Robert Carter, Blackford.
Second best of the sale at £280 was a pen from High Side, with a pen from Kinstown at £240, and both Nunscleugh House and Mid Todhills selling at £200 apiece.
Then at £180 was a pen from the Scott family, Thirwall Castle.
Average; £117.81 – up £1.07 (Harrison and Hetherington).
