Top price of the day at today’s Glassick Limousin dispersal, Stirling, was 4000gns for Glassick Chestnut a strong five year old cow by Clarkton Sirocco and out of Glassick Velvet.  She was sold with a promising bull calf sired by Knock Atlas to MacDonald, Aspenbank, Turriff.

Two lots made 3800gns, with  both being purchased by Neil Barclay, Harestone, Banchory.  The first was Glassick Angel a seven year old daughter of Clarkton Legend sold with bull calf sired by Knock Atlas. Angel’s daughter Evie was the other at 3800gns, she was sired by Knock Atlas and sold with a bull calf.

Glassick Diva achieved the nest highest price at 3200gns, a four year old by Knock Atlas sold with an Attila calf to Messrs Murphy, Stripeside, Benrinnes, Aberdeen.

In calf cows sold to 3100gns for a seven year old Glassick Amethyst sold in calf to Knock Atlas.  She was purchased by Neil Barclay, Harestone.

In calf heifers sold to 3000gns for Glassick Fudge a very well grown daughter of Knock Atlas out of Glassick Angel.  She also sold to Neil Barclay. Heifer calves sold to 1900gns for Glassick Ghirl.

Averages; 15 cows and calves £2653, three in calf heifers £2065, six maiden heifers £1303.75, four young bulls £1601.25 (United Auctions).
