By the looks of the trade so far there will be some hefty averages come the end of the sale at the Blelack Matrons sale with buyers still eager to secure the best of the genetics on offer. Find a new home at 8500gns was Blelack Prindell J285 (lot 39). This one is a Peter Pershore daughter out of Wedderlie Prindell and was knocked down to Pat Cahill for his Shankhill herd, Ireland.

Then at 6000gns Ken Howie purchased Blelack Blackcap K379 (lot 40) for his Cairnton herd. This one is an Oakchurch Dominator G035 daughter out of a Young Dale Monarch 12E daughter.
Selling for 6000gns was Blelack Evora H044
Straight after that Messrs Whittaker paid 7500gns to secure Blelack Evora H044 (lot 41), a Blackstock daughter out of a HF Richochet 99F-sired dam, while Andrew Ewing was back in the action again securing Blelack Bluebird F423 (lot 42), a Blelack Lord Hornblower A243 daughter out of a Blacksmith-sired dam for 5600gns.
At 7500gns Jan Boomaars purchased Blelack Princess Carina H906 (lot 47), a Peter Pershore daughter out of an Aberan DMM Decision 26H daughter, while Blelack Penny H093 (lot 51) followed at 7000gns selling to Carskiey Estate, Argyll. This one is by Nightingale Defiance E264 and is out of a Blelack Lord Hornblower A243.
Messrs Brown went to 6000gns twice, the first of which was Blelack Blackbird D897 (lot 52), a Lord Hornblower daughter out of a Royal Added Value daughter with the next being Blelack Blackbird H994 (lot 53) a Nightingale Defiance E264 daughter out of a Nightingale Ernie B133-sired daughter.
Then at 5500gns Blelack Jubilee Erica F442 (lot 54) joined Neil Wattie’s Tonley herd. By Ernie, this one is out of a Blackstock daughter, while at 5000gns Fernhill Lady heather H039 (lot 55), a Blelack Lady Heather B497 daughter by Ardgarth Brocade D206 sold to the Harcus family Orkney.
The next to make decent money was Blelack Bangle Maid H907 (lot 59) a Netherallan Peter Pershore E052 daughter out of a Blacksmith dam. This one sold to Kenneth Pratt for his Deeview herd.
And wrapping up proceedings with a call of 4500gns was Blelack Blackbird F539, another Ernie daughter this time out of a Viking Bandy Magic daughter. She was knocked down to previous buyer Mr Walsh, Manchester.
