Blackface trade at Hexham today is currently being led at £7000 by a shearling from George Famelton, Horseholm. This one is by a Blackhouse sire and sold to Wanwoodhill Partners.
Selling at £1800 was a shearling from Lamperts which went to Whitside, while at £1600 was a shearling from High Staward by a £6000 Horseholm sire. This one sold to Carrick. At the same money was one from Yatesfield which went to Tofhouse.
Then at £1500 was a son of a Yatesfield tup from Whiteside which went to Crowhall and at £1400 was another from High Staward, again by the £6000 Horseholm. He sold to Troughend. The same price secured a son of a Chapelhouse sire from Brieredge. He found a new home at Rookland.
