We’re now on the last of the junior bulls with the second prize Kaprico Germander (lot 270) going at 10,000gns. By the great Sympa, he is out of the Wilodge Tonka daughter Kaprico Erica and boasts a beef value of +48 and a muscle figure of +48.
Then the first prize Sarkley Gordy (lot 273) from the Pennie family has followed at 7000gns. By attirant, he is out of the Vivaldi daughter Sarkley Camellia.
The penultimate bull to go through the ring Erne Grayson (lot 275) from the Crawford Bros has gone at 7000gns on the phone. By sauvignon, he is out of the Highlander daughter Lake Amelia.
That’s today’s trade wrapped up for now with the last lot failing to sell. The average for today is £6307.71 for 109 sold, so by our reckoning, that’s a 55% clearance!! However, last year’s sale saw an average of £5929 for 94 sold.
