Ashby Gucci (lot 803), one of the few Burradon Talisman sons in the market this week has sold at 14,000gns. This is out of Gretnahouse Caresse, a Doonally New daughter and has a TSI of +41 and an SRI of +41.

Following him at 5500gns was Carscreugh Gazza (lot 805), a son of Shanco Unnoticed out of Thrunton Aroma, a Talisman daughter.
And fetching 4000gns was Ballinlare Guiness from Joe Wilson. Sired by Sportsmans Columbo he is out of Ballinlare Angelica, a Derrygriff Mills daughter.
Then came the reserve male champion from the Royal Welsh, Maerdy Grandduke from Esmor Evans. He is by Maerdy Dynamite and out of Maerdy Amble, a Grangwood Soprano daughter. He made 4500gns.
Another from Esmor, Maerdy Gent (lot 812) then sold at 14,000gns. This second prize winner by Blelack Digger is out of Maerdy Debutante, a Maerdy USA daughter and has a calving ease of +13.5 alongside a TSI of +74 and an SRI of +74. He was bought by Messrs Robinson, Shamley.

And then came Esmor’s Royal Welsh champion, Maerdy Grenadier (lot 813). Another by Dynamite he is out of Maerdy Damson, a Maerdy Naser daughter and has a TSI of +47 and an SRI of +40, along with a calving ease of +4.1. He was passed unsold at 16,000gns.
