Well folks that it from us here in Stirling. The Farming Eye team are done and dusted with this week’s bull sales with a trade that can only be described as defying expectations.

Barring Monday’s Angus and Shorthorn trades, which were poor due to a less than vintage show of bulls in both breeds, the remaining sales have been exceptional, with averages up in all breeds and some mighty top prices.

Today’s Charolais record will of course go down as the highlight of the week, but the Simmental and Limousin trades have been strong too. We’re heading away home now, but we’ll be back in action again tomorrow with more sales news from across the country – stay tuned!
