A small and select entry of Herefords sold to a high of 3500gns at Carlisle today, with the lead price paid for the day’s first prize bull and overall champion Leos Pride 1 Zinzan from Messrs Ellis.
This is a son of Otapawa High Voltage 3004 out of Leos Pride 1 Elisia 3, an RLOA R271 Dynasty 37U daughter. He sold to Messrs Ellwood, Kirkby in Furness.
Second top call was a 3100gns bid for Panmure 1 Herman from Messrs Cant. Sired by Romany 1 Distiller he is out of Panmure 1 Plum, an FS 1 Versace daughter and was knocked down to I Skea, Inverurie.
Heading the female prices was a 1500gns bid for the first prize heifer Kingshaugh 1 Image from Messrs Hutchinson. This Solpoll 1 Ferrari daughter is out of Kingshaugh 1 Daisy, a Harrington Park 1 Windsor daughter. This one found a new home with P and N M Cowsill, Stainton, Barrow.
