Best price of the day at today’s Limousin sale at Roscrea was a €10,200 bid for the reserve junior champion Carrefour General from John Kenny. This one is by Wilodge Cerberus and out of Carrefour Daphne, an Elite Popsi daughter.

And following not far behind him at €9600 was the junior champion Roundhill Gailleo, an Attirant son out of Roundhill Disette, a Nenuphar daughter from Tim Corridan.

Then making €7800 was Wood Road Glen (lot 39), a June 2011-born son of Wood Road Donald from Noel Fennessy. This one is out of Wood Road Victoria, an Ideal 23 daughter and goes back to Sympa on his sires’ side. He had stood first on class four under judge Mark Quick of the Loosebeare herd.

Second best at €7000 is Newtown Grant (lot 66) from Stanley Richardson. This one of Ampertaine Abracadabra is out of Newtown Clodagh, a Cloughhead Lord daughter and had stood first in class four.

Selling for €6800 was Lougheed Gamba from Noel Tully. This Haltcliffe Dancer son is out of Lougheed Evelyn, a Clooney Quinn Timmy daughter.

And at €6000 was Keeltown Gem from Brendan Hanley. Sired by Mas Du Clo he is out of Cannon daughter Millbrook Monique, making him a full brother to Millbrook Tanko.

And at €5000 was Ballinahinch Giant (lot 27), a Ballynerrin Remy son from Seamus Cullen. He is out of Spring Bridge Beuafield , a Spring Bridge Super daughter and stood third in class three.
