Trade has been a little slow for the Salers in Stirling just now with the reserve champion failing to make his reserve and being not sold at 3000gns, but selling for that money was the first in the ring from Farmstock Genetics with Cumbrian Hyball (lot 3). This October 2010-born bull is by Valliant and is out of the Upperlands Banker Poll daughter Upperlands Hyacinth 373. He was knocked down to Messrs Church.
Next up was the fourth prize Seamore Gaultier (lot 6) from the Manners family. By Vicomte, this one is out of Seamore Chanell, a Uriel daughter. He traded at 4200gns to Messrs McIntosh.
The first from the Pye family, Rigel Conqueror (lot 7) is currently leading trade selling at 5500gns. This one is by Rigel Othello and is out of the Mosstock Intouch daughter Rigel Cerberus.
Next up is the first prize Drumaglea Aristocrat (lot 11) from the Boyd family. This one is by Ublo and is out of a Preenbank Neptune daughter. He sold at 3400gns to the Crofters Commission, while wrapping up proceedings in the Salers was the second prize Whitebog General from Alistair MacKenzie (lot 17).
